Description
The Femminello variety of yellow lemon used for making ‘Les vergers Boiron’ puree grows in Sicily and is known for its juiciness and the quality of its essential oils.
The lemon juice is extracted with great care in order to avoid squeezing the white area (albedo), a source of bitterness. In this way we obtain juice with a rich zesty flavour, very close to that of freshly pressed lemons.
